Elon Musk Twitter Deal: Elon Musk once again sent letters to buy Twitter – report

Elon Musk Twitter Deal: Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reportedly again offered to buy Twitter for $54.20 a share, the same price he originally proposed before closing a $44 billion acquisition deal in April this year. According to Bloomberg, Musk has sent a letter to Twitter offering to buy the micro-blogging platform at the price originally proposed.

Musk-Twitter legal battle to begin October 17
The move, if true, has created confusion in the minds of millions as the Musk-Twitter legal battle is set to begin in a US court on October 17. However, Twitter or Musk did not comment on the report. As reported by The Verge, trading of Twitter shares was temporarily halted.

The new report comes at a time when a new exchange deal between Musk and executives such as Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal and Jack Dorsey was leaked into the public domain. Twitter shareholders have already voted to approve Musk’s $44 billion takeover bid. The vote comes as Musk’s core team is in a court battle to get out of the deal. Twitter confirmed that preliminary counts show it has enough votes to approve the deal. The approval meant that Musk and Twitter would proceed to an October trial in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

The world’s richest man even texted Oracle President and CTO Larry Ellison all night before deciding to terminate the $44 billion Twitter acquisition deal in May.
