He said that after this he would only handle the software and server teams. About 1.7 crore users voted in this poll. Of these, about 57 percent of users voted in favor of Musk stepping down as head of Twitter, with about 42 percent of participating users wanting him to stay on as Twitter CEO.
Musk is also the chief executive of Tesla, one of the big electric car makers. Musk is being accused of ignoring Tesla. Recently, Tesla’s third largest shareholder Leo Koguan demanded the removal of Musk as the company’s chief executive officer. Koguan has about 22.7 million shares in Tesla, which are valued at about $3.6 billion.
