Electric scooter with 300 km range introduced, speed will cross 100 in 3 seconds

 

Austrian bike maker Horwin has taken the wraps off its first electric maxi-scooter Senmenti 0 at EICMA 2022.

The new chassis, motor and battery set a new benchmark in the segment. It gets a 400 V capacity motor and battery which enables it to charge fast. You can charge it up to 0-80% in half an hour. Not only this, with the battery of this scooter, you can also charge any other electric vehicle along with other equipment installed in the house.

The Senmanti 0 can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds. Its top speed is 200 km per hour. The company claims that the Sentimenti 0 scooter gets a range of 300 kilometers on a single charge. While the average speed is 88 kmph.

This scooter gets automatic driving mode, which improves its range. It is equipped with many modern technologies. It features radar with front and rear collision warning, three riding modes and lean-sensitive ABS and traction control.

It also gets a tire pressure display as standard. Other features include keyless ignition, hill-climb and reserve assist, a TFT display with Bluetooth-connectivity and a camera on board to capture photos and videos while riding, while a windshield for wind protection is also available. .

It sits on 15-inch wheels, which are wrapped in 120-section tires at the front and 160-section units at the rear, with disc brakes on both the wheels. Horwin plans to start selling the e-scooter in Europe by mid-2023.

Horween has also previously showcased a concept e-bike called the Sentimenti X at the EICMA. It has a unique self-balancing function that steadies itself while driving, thereby improving safety.
