Electric scooter Afreda S6 is protected from overturning and can accommodate three people

Manufacturer Afreda has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise funds for the release of a new model of a three-wheeled electric scooter Afreda S6. In addition to the unusual design, the features of the vehicle include the ability to fold for easy transportation.

Three 14-inch wheels are made of aluminum. The two front ones feature a spring-loaded linkage that allows each to tilt up to 40 degrees when cornering. This makes the scooter almost infallible. Also, each wheel can independently move up and down as much as 28 centimeters when driving over rough terrain. But if the user does not need this, then he can block their oblique function manually.

6061 anodized aluminum alloy frame folds in one second. This allows you to roll the scooter like a carry case.

The vehicle is equipped with a 250 W motor for EU countries and 500 W for North America, which provides 35 and 40 km/h, respectively. The base model Afreda S6 Lite is powered by a 48V/7.8Ah lithium battery, and one 4-hour charge is enough for a run of 30 km. The figures are doubled for the Pro model equipped with two batteries. Among other things, you can notice hydraulic disc brakes, a padded rear seat / trunk for a second passenger or cargo, and a padded mini seat for a child (two additional seats are provided only in the Pro version). The weight of the Lite model is about 26 kg, while the Pro is 31 kg.

The electric scooter is currently available starting at $1999 for the North American Lite version and up to $2299 for the Pro version. Planned retail prices for it are 2799 and 3299 dollars, respectively.
