The facelift version of Mahindra XUV300 is also to be launched next year. According to reports, the company is also preparing to launch its electric variant. In the coming time, XUV300 EV will be a direct challenge to Tata Nexon EV.
Expectations from XUV300 EV
Currently, Mahindra XUV400 EV competes with Tata’s popular electric SUV Nexon EV. However, this car is sold very less in the market. With the new XUV300 EV, Mahindra hopes that the company will make good sales in the electric SUV segment. At present this segment is occupied by Nexon EV.
XUV300 EV: Expected Battery
Mahindra XUV300 EV can be launched in the market with the power of 35kWh battery pack. This is less powerful than the 40kWh battery pack of the XUV400 EV. However, the company has not given official information about the electric motor or range. This car can be launched at a cheaper price than XUV400 EV.
XUV300 EV: When will it be launched?
It will not be easy for Mahindra’s new electric SUV to compete with Nexon EV. The top electric model of Nexon comes with a 12.3 inch infotainment screen. The expected ex-showroom price of XUV300 EV could be between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 17 lakh. Mahindra’s new electric SUV is likely to be launched next year.
