Pune based company Northway Motorsport has launched EV conversion kit for Maruti Dzire. It has two models, with Drive EZ and Travel EZ variants priced between Rs 5-6 lakh. The company claims that with the help of Desire Electric Kit, you can go from 120 km to 250 km in a single charge. The Maruti Dzire Drive EZ takes 5-6 hours to fully charge, while the Dzire Travel EZ takes 8-10 hours to fully charge. You can drive both these electric kits of DZire at a top speed of 80 kmph in commercial use and 140 kmph in private use.
Hero Splendor Electric Kit Price Range
Maharashtra’s Thane-based EV startup Gogoe1 launched an electric kit for Hero Splendor Plus last year, priced at Rs 35,000. Buying it with battery and GST, the price becomes around one lakh rupees. The use of this electric kit introduced for Hero Splendor Plus has also been approved by the RTO. A 3-year warranty is being given on this electric kit. At the same time, talking about the single charge range, the Splendor PSUS Electric Kit is being claimed to run up to 151 km on a single charge.
