At Gitex Global 2022 in Dubai, XPeng showed visitors an electric vertical takeoff and landing flying car called the XPeng X2.
The presentation of the Xpeng X2 flying car took place this year at the Shanghai Auto Show. The electric flying car (eVTOL) has room for two people. Its length is about 5 m with a width of 4.78 meters and a height of 1.36 meters.
According to the latest data, the weight of the car is 560 kg, while the allowable takeoff weight is 760 kg (+200 kg payload). XPeng X2 will be able to fly at an altitude of up to 1000 meters. On a fully charged battery, you can fly up to 35 minutes at speeds up to 130 km/h.
The Xpeng X2 electric flying car has received the function of unmanned control, radar detection, automatic safety parachute and a number of other functions.
XPeng plans to begin shipping its X2 electric flying car in 2024, at a price yet to be announced.
