According to the Autonews of the Day resource, the Skywell ET5 electric crossover has been certified in Russia. It has already been issued a Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS), the applicant in the certificate indicates LLC DEALON, the official distributor of Skywell cars in the Russian market.
In terms of dimensions, the Skywell ET5 is similar to the once very popular Nissan X-Trail and Mitsubishi Outlander in Russia. The dimensions of the novelty are 4698 x 1908 x 1696 mm, the length of the wheelbase is 2800 mm.
In Russia, Skywell ET5 is certified with a single TZ200XSJ electric motor from the Chinese BYD, which is on the front axle and develops power up to 204 hp. The power reserve is 400 km on the WLTP cycle (although earlier it was said that the crossover could overcome 520 km on a single charge).
Skywell ET5 received 19-inch wheels. The front suspension uses MacPherson struts, the rear is an independent spring “multi-link” with hydraulic shock absorbers.
As for prices and equipment, these data were previously disclosed by the distributor. The novelty will be offered in two trim levels – Comfort worth 4,480,000 rubles and Luxury for 4,980,000 rubles.
The base Skywell ET5 will get leather upholstery, keyless entry, six airbags, power heated and ventilated front seats, a rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, a power trunk and a 12.8-inch media system. In the top version, in addition, a panoramic roof, a surround view system and brand-patented fully reclining seats.
Since the car has already received OTTS, its sales should begin in the near future.
