The Rimac Nevera is the fastest production road legal vehicle in the world. According to the company’s claim, this car can accelerate to 96 kmph in just 2 seconds. Although Rimac holds the title of fastest production road legal car, but the company does not want to stop here. The company says that in the future, electric vehicles can also accelerate to 0-96 kmph in 1 second and intends to design such a car as its own remake.
One with The Drive Interview Rimac Nevara Chief Engineer Matija Renic was asked how fast he thought an EV could be. So he responded by saying that even though the Nevara is very fast, “we are very proud of the figures, but the car is much more than that.”
He continued “The car is really very, very complex, which shows you what automotive technology can do in the future. And it’s also very useful and very friendly from a users point of view. And that’s what we wanted to achieve in the end.” That is to develop a drivers car, something that is very attractive and very rewarding to just take it out and enjoy.”
The price of the Rimac Nevera electric hypercar is 2.27 million euros (approximately Rs 16.95 crore).
This electric hypercar is touted as the world’s fastest road-spec car with a top speed of 415 kmph. The company claims that this car is capable of accelerating from 0-96 kmph in just 1.86 seconds.
