Liquid cooling specialist EK announced this week the EK-Quantum Velocity2 D-RGB AM4 water block. The waterblock is available in five versions. All are designed for use with AMD AM4 processors and feature addressable LED backlighting.
The water block is said to have “best performance and optimum flow.” Its base is made of copper. It is nickel-plated in four versions. The waterblock is compatible with the “standard” EK-Matrix7, in which the step of the height of the products and the distances between the ports is determined equal to 7 mm. This simplifies the design and assembly of the LSS. A new patent-pending EK-Exact Mount is used to mount the waterblock. According to EK, it is very easy to use and looks aesthetically pleasing.
EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Nickel + Plexi, EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Nickel + Acetal and EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Copper + Acetal cost 125.9 € each, while EK- Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Nickel + Satin Titanium and EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Full Nickel – 169.9 euros each. Acceptance of pre-orders has already begun.
