Edison’s ‘nap technique’ confirmed… Creativity ‘Mugwort’ right after taking a nap

Thomas Edison, the American inventor, was granted 1,084 patents in his lifetime. He was a worker devoted to R&D all day except for the four or five hours he slept at night, but when he couldn’t come up with an idea, he often lay down on his workbench or sat on a chair to take a nap. It was to catch the inspiration from a brief nap that served as a rest. He took a nap, fearing that if he fell into a deep sleep he would not be able to recall the idea that came to him.
