E-scooter maker Evium launches ‘Experience Centre’ in Bengaluru, will sell three electric scooters

‘Moto Ace’ is located at 16th Main, HAL II Phase, Indiranagar in the heart of Bengaluru. This new facility is close to popular eateries and showrooms. The eVium ‘Moto Ace’ experience hub showcases the brand’s products like Cosmo, Comet and Caesar. Evium has also announced that the company will soon launch two new dealerships in Bengaluru.

Commenting on the occasion, Sameer Moidin, Co-Founder and Partner, eVium said, “It is important for us to brand connect customers in Bengaluru, which is one of the most conscious cities in terms of electric vehicles. and we are very excited to start here. We aim to expand our footprint in the city and gradually across the state. We have received a good response from other cities, and we are in the Silicon Valley of India. Looking forward to making our mark.”

Evium has launched three of its scooters in India on 19th July. The company has launched them in the name of Cosmo, Comet and Jar. Their price has been kept at Rs 1.44 lakh, Rs 1.92 lakh and Rs 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The EVeium brand was launched as an electric vehicle manufacturer in June this year.

The brand also plans to invest over Rs 250 crore to set up a manufacturing plant and is slated to start production by the end of this financial year. The company says that it will introduce a wide range of products under the Evium brand in India which will include electric scooters, electric bikes and electric cycles.

According to Evium, the brand intends to create a complete Made-in-India product that will be tailored to the needs of the Indian customers. “The brand’s plant, being constructed with an investment of over Rs 250 crore, will be commissioned by the end of this financial year,” the company said.

The company said that the Indian electric vehicle market currently lacks localisation. As part of the Government of India’s e-mobility vision, Elysium Automotives aims to promote localization in the manufacture of electric vehicles in India, hence the company has launched Evium as a 100% Indian brand.

Evium has already started establishing its dealer network in India. The company plans to open its showrooms in states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal by the end of this financial year.
