How to get instant e-PAN through Aadhar card
You can generate your e-PAN with the help of your Aadhar and mobile number. Also, creating an e-PAN is free of cost, and can be done online.
We have given below how to apply for e-PAN through Aadhar card online:
step 1: First of all you have to visit the official website of Income Tax Department. https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal will go on.
Step 2: Now click on the option of ‘Instant e-PAN’ from the ‘Quick Links’ section available on the homepage.
Step 3: From there a new page will open, click on the option ‘Get New e-PAN’.
Step 4: You will then need to enter your Aadhaar number for PAN allocation and tick the ‘I confirm that’ box before tapping on the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 5: Thereafter, you will receive an Aadhaar OTP on your registered mobile number. You have to enter the OTP and click on the button ‘Validate Aadhaar OTP and Continue’.
Step 6: Accept the terms and conditions mentioned on the OTP validation page and click on the Continue button.
Step 7: Provide your OTP, check the box, and tap the Continue button once again.
Step 8: If your email ID is not authenticated, you need to click on ‘Validate email ID’, then enter your credentials, and click on Continue button.
Step 9: After submitting your Aadhaar details for validation, you will be provided with an acknowledgment number.
Step 10: To download e-PAN, you need to complete the first two steps, click on the option ‘Check Status/Download PAN’, provide your Aadhaar number and captcha code, tap on the submit icon, enter the OTP and process complete.
Step 11: A PDF file link will be issued within 10 minutes on successful PAN allocation. After which you can download it.
