Ducati Multistrada V2- Design
The new Multistrada V2 is a bike with a stylish and sporty design. It has been designed similarly to other bikes in the Multistrada range. The company claims that this bike is extremely comfortable for long distance rides and provides good balance even in rough roads. It has been brought in three colors – Ducati Red, Street Gray and GP Red. The last two colors are offered only in the V2S.
It has been given a semi-faired design. The bike fairing gets slim dual LED slit headlamps, large transparent windscreen, turn indicators on the handlebar and body colored ORVMs. The bike gets chrome tip matte black exhaust and slim taillamps. To further enhance its sporty look, red alloy wheels have been given in the black paint variant. Apart from this, the engine has been given gray and black paint.
Ducati Multistrada V2- Engine
The Multistrada V2 gets its power from a 937 cc Ducati Testastretta twin-cylinder engine. It is a water-cooled engine that generates power of 113 bhp. Ducati says the engine’s maintenance interval has been extended. It requires a change of engine oil once every 15,000 km and valve check once every 30,000 km.
The Multistrada V2 also includes improvements like new connecting rods, a new 8-disc hydraulic clutch, and an updated gearbox, which makes the gears and clutch more smooth and makes neutral shifting easier. The overall weight of the engine has come down by about 2 kg due to new connecting rods, new covers, gearbox and clutch.
Ducati Multistrada V2 – Suspension & Brakes
The new Multistrada V2 gets 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. It has become lighter by 1.7 kg from the Multistrada 950. Pirelli Scorpion Trail tires have been installed in the bike. It gets semi-active skyhook suspension, which is equipped with an electronic adjust system.
Ducati Multistrada V2- Features
In terms of features, the new Multistrada V2 is a very special bike. It has four riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. Apart from this, the bike also gets safety features like dual channel ABS with dual disc brake, cornering ABS and vehicle hold control. The Multistrada V2 S variant gets Ducati cornering headlights which illuminate the corners of the road well. It has a leaning turn indicator which gets activated as soon as the bike is turned.
