Don’t wait until the end of this year for new Macs. According to rumors and hints from Apple itself, the launch of new products was postponed

Apple will not release any new Macs this year.

Well-known Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman says that all announcements that were previously scheduled for the end of 2022 have been postponed to 2023.

This applies to the new MacBook Pro, Mac mini and Mac Pro. In cases we are talking about computers based on new platforms of the M2 line. Such PCs are now expected in the first quarter of next year.

Indirectly, Gurman’s statement is confirmed by Apple itself. The fact is that during the company’s latest earnings report, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple’s product line was determined on the eve of the holidays, that is, all products that will be sold during the Christmas period are already in Apple’s assortment.

So far, Apple has launched several PCs based on the M2 SoC, but all new products will be based on higher-performance platforms in the same line, that is, M2 Pro, M2 Max, M2 Ultra and M2 Extreme. At least numerous rumors and leaks speak of such SoCs.
