Dmitry Medvedev vowed to take revenge on YouTube for deleting the Goblin channel

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev expressed support for Dmitry Puchkov in connection with the removal of his YouTube channel and promised to “take revenge.”

Before that, YouTube removed the channel of blogger Dmitry Puchkov, known under the pseudonym “Goblin”, for violating community rules.

Google has already explained the reason for removing Goblin’s channel from YouTube: “We have removed content from Dmitry Puchkov’s channel and issued a warning (strike) to him for violating our hate speech policy… This was the channel’s third strike in 90 days, therefore, in accordance with By our policy of three warnings, Dmitry Puchkov’s channel was deleted.

Google explained that it was about content “that denies, downplays or trivializes well-documented events of violence.”
