New Delhi. London-based consumer electronics company Nothing will launch its first smartphone Nothing Phone (1) on July 12. Ahead of the launch event, Flipkart, the online sales partner of Nothing in India, has announced offers on the Nothing Phone (1). According to the listing of Flipkart’s Nothing Phone (1), customers can get a discount of Rs 2,000 on using HDFC Bank credit cards. This discount will be given only on full payment of the phone. However, no details are available about this yet.
According to the BGR report, the price of Nothing Phone (1) will be officially revealed on the day of the launch event. According to the rumours, the phone will enter the mid-range smartphone market with a price tag of around Rs 30,000. The smartphone is expected to get 6.55-inch OLED screen, Snapdragon 778G+ chipset with 120Hz dynamic refresh rate.
Snapdragon 778+ Processor
Nothing has already confirmed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 778+ processor. The phone will have a 6.55-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout at the top. Up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage can be found on the Nothing Phone 1. It works on Android 12.
USB-C port will be available in the phone. Apart from this, 4500mAh battery can be found in the phone with 45W fast charging. There could be a 50-megapixel camera system on the back of the phone, while a 16-megapixel sensor could be used in the selfie snapper. There are fancy LED lights on the back panel of the phone, which flashes when there is a notification or call.
The phone will come in three variants
According to a report, the Nothing Phone 1 will be available in three storage variants. It will have a base variant with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, which can cost $ 397 i.e. around Rs 31000. The second variant with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage can cost $ 419 i.e. around Rs 33000. Lastly, the top variant with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will cost you $ 456, approximately Rs 36000.
