Dirty air began to be used for the production of clothing

This was reported in the Dezeen edition. According to the published data, the company began to dye its clothes with dyes based on carbon dioxide emissions. The latter were collected in water using algae.

It is known that the company’s employees first thermally process the biomass from the spirulina algae, which are located in warm freshwater bodies. Subsequently, under the influence of high temperatures, the plants are transformed into black powder. Moreover, this color is due to the carbohydrate, which has been absorbed by the algae in the process of life. Next, the resulting powder is mixed with a water-based acrylic binder, and then ink is obtained, with which T-shirts made of organic materials are dyed.
