Hyundai Motor India is the second largest car company in the country. This company is also one of the best selling brand names in the SUV segment. Hyundai has dominated the SUV market since the launch of the Creta in 2015. suv cars has a lot of influence. In the case of cars cheaper than Rs 20 lakh, the company has strengthened the lineup. However, it is not at all that the road is easy for the Hyundai SUV. There is a big challenge in front of companies like Maruti, Tata Motors and Mahindra.

At present, the company’s SUV portfolio includes models like Venue, Creta, Alcazar and Tucson. On one hand, Venue has generated good sales for the company, on the other hand, Tucson could not do as well as Creta. However, the current Creta has been launched three years ago, while more than one SUV from other companies is coming into the fray.

Mahindra’s quick sale

Creta and Venue are the best selling SUVs for Hyundai. Alcazar also doesn’t sell that much. Meanwhile, a direct SUV rival could be a game changer for Hyundai. Looking at Mahindra itself, options ranging from XUV300 to XUV700 will be available in its lineup. Apart from these, Thar, Scorpio-N and Bolero are sold a lot.

Tata dominates the SUV market

The position of Tata Motors is also very strong. Nexon has a lot of dominance in the SUV segment. Apart from this, only the diesel-powered Harrier and Safari have also been updated. Both these SUVs also sell well. At the same time, special editions are also liked by the people. Recently, the Red Dark Edition of Harrier and Safari was launched, which includes updated cabin features and ADAS.

Maruti’s charm, where is Hyundai?

The country’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki has entered the SUV market for a while. However, on the basis of Grand Vitara and Brezza, the company has sold a lot. At the same time, the Franks crossover has also entered the fray and the 5 door Jimny is on the way. What does Hyundai have in response to these?
