DHL Express stops delivering goods within Russia

DHL Express will stop delivering goods within Russia from September 1. The company’s press service explained the decision by significant technical difficulties associated with the operation of information systems and infrastructure, as well as legal restrictions.

JSC “DHL International” will no longer have access to the global information system DHL Express, which automates the processes of providing express delivery services within Russia. This means that customers cannot create or place new requests for the delivery of documents and goods within Russia in the DHL Express global information system.

Documents and cargo accepted for delivery in Russia before August 31 will be delivered to recipients in the regular mode. After September 1, the company intends to continue delivering goods from Russia abroad.

The company annually delivers more than 1.6 billion parcels and items. DHL Express is the market leader in parcel delivery in Europe and the main courier service in Germany.
