Eurocom has announced the expansion of the range of mobile computers through the model Raptor X15. This is both a fairly powerful and quite compact laptop. The novelty is equipped with a screen with a diagonal of 15.6 inches, and its weight is 2.6 kg. At the same time, inside is a full-fledged 16-core Core i9-12900K desktop processor (of course, in the top version, ordinary ones cost simpler processors, for example, Core i5).
The CPU supports 24 threads. It is installed on a motherboard with an LGA1700 socket based on the Intel H670 chipset and with support for DDR4-3200 MHz RAM. Alas, since we are talking about a laptop, the installation of full-sized DIMM modules is not supported, but the maximum RAM is decent – 64 GB.
The graphics accelerator, of course, is also not the one used in desktop PCs – all components of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti are soldered on the motherboard. The Raptor X15 supports three drives: two M.2 NVMe SSDs and one 2.5-inch SSD or HDD. The maximum amount of file storage laptop reaches 24 TB.
The Eurocom Raptor X15 is equipped with a variety of displays, including a 2560 x 1440 pixel IPS matrix at 165 Hz (BOE) and a 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS matrix at 240 Hz (Sharp IGZO).
The laptop is equipped with a wired Gigabit Ethernet adapter, wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, stereo speakers, a backlit keyboard, one USB-A 2.0 port, three USB 3.2 Gen 2, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, as well as mini DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 video connectors . The battery capacity was 62 Wh, dimensions – 361 x 258 x 32.5 mm.
