Dell computers stop booting after BIOS update

Most often, they say that after installing BIOS versions for Dell Inspiron 5680 and Alienware Aurora R8 computers, as well as Dell Latitude 5320 and Latitude 5520 laptops, the devices stopped starting – coolers start working, but the computer does not boot. In addition, users talk about blue screens of death and constant system reboots.

We are talking about new BIOS versions: 1.0.18 and 2.8.0 for desktop Inspiron and Alienware Aurora, as well as 1.14.3 for Latitude laptops. As noted, there is only one way out of the situation – to roll back the update to previous versions.

No official messages from the manufacturer have yet been received.
