Dacia has publicly stated its disagreement with the policies of some car companies that force you to subscribe in order to use features built into cars. Dacia offers free heating pads for the English.
Anyone can pick up a Dacia hot water bottle between February 1st and 2nd at the Dacia showrooms in Brent Cross, London, Trinity Way, Manchester and Fendrod Way, Swansea.
According to Autoexpress, the reason the Romanian brand took the step could well be BMW’s controversial decision to offer heated seats on some of its models on a £15 a month subscription.
Luke Broad, brand director for Dacia in the UK, said: “Asking someone to pay extra to activate factory-installed equipment is definitely not about Dacia. Whether consumers find heated seats necessary or not, our commitment to value and a hassle-free ownership experience means we will only ask them to press a button to enjoy the built-in features.”
BMW also offers heated steering wheels on a £10 per month subscription.
