This is mainly due to the fall in the rates of the world’s first and second largest cryptocurrencies. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum cryptocurrencies have slipped below key levels. The global crypto market cap has come down to $961.02 billion in the last 24 hours and its volume has been $84.82 billion in the last 24 hours.
The price of bitcoin, the world’s largest and most popular virtual currency, fell by 2.3 percent to $19,728.8. Its market cap has come down to $ 377.9 billion. At the same time, its trade volume was $ 36 billion. Bitcoin has once again slipped below $20,000. However, this token has registered a jump of 2 per cent in the last one week.
The price of Ethereum, the world’s second largest cryptocurrency, has also come down below $1500. It has seen a decline of 9.9 percent and has come to $ 1,467.4 per token. Its market capitalization has also come down to $ 179.9 billion. Ethereum’s trade volume stood at $26.5 billion in the last 24 hours. At the same time, an overall decline of 10.1 percent was recorded in Ethereum or Ether in the last 7 days.
