One of the dealers brought a batch of Suzuki Vitara MHEV crossovers to Russia. As the name implies, this is a hybrid, the main thing in which is increased fuel efficiency.
The system is called a “mild” hybrid – a 1.4-liter engine is supplemented here with a starter generator and a very small battery with a capacity of 8 Ah. The electric motor helps the internal combustion engine during acceleration, and during braking, energy is heated in the battery. Due to this, the hybrid consumes less than the conventional gasoline version. The power of the power plant is 129 hp.
All cars put up for sale by the Nizhny Novgorod dealer are in the top-end GLX configuration with all-wheel drive. The cost of the car is 2.9 million rubles.
Suzuki Vitara is not a new model, it was previously officially sold in Russia. Crossover dimensions are 4175 x 1775 x 1610 mm, wheelbase length – 2500 mm.
