Company MV Motors presented a new model of electric off-roader called Spartan 2.0 EV, created on the basis of Force Gurkha. Earlier the company collaborated with the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant on the project of electric UAZs. Force Gurkha is released in 2008, the model is very similar to Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
The Spartan 2.0 EV retains the original features of the body, chassis, wooden frame, suspension, off-road equipment and interior details. The electric motor, placed instead of the transmission box, generates 177 hp, while maintaining full drive and high torque peaking at 1075 Nm, transmitted through the transmission box. The car is also provided with differentials with manual blocking at the front and rear, as well as a descent control system.
Accumulator of Chinese production has a useful capacity of 57,4 kW•h, providing a rated range of about 241 km. Charging can be performed at power up to 90 kW, from 20% to 80% in 40 minutes. The car can serve as a power source for electrical instruments.
While the price of Spartan 2.0 EV has not been announced, but a few years ago the price of Spartan EV in Europe started from 40 thousand euros.
