But let us tell you that before the delivery of the car, a big issue has come to the fore. For the fans of Jimny, its safety rating has been released and those who were waiting for it will be very surprised to know that recently its rating has been given by Euro NCAP.

A 3 door variant of the Jimny is sold in the European market. Recently a crash test of Jimny 3 door was done in which this shocking thing came to light that this car is said to be the best vehicle for off roading but Jimny has been given only 3 out of 5 stars in the safety rating.

In the frontal offset test, it was seen that the occupants of the car do not suffer much damage to their legs and head in the collision but there may be a possibility of serious injury to their chest. Because of which he got only 4.6 out of 8 marks. On the other hand, in terms of child safety, it has been considered quite safe and has scored 84% in this test.

As of now, no information has been revealed about its Indian variant. An updated 5 door version of this vehicle has been launched in India. Changes have been made in this version according to the Indian customer and their conditions and many features have also been given in it and the wheel base of the car has also been increased.

The Jimny to be launched in India is powered by a 1.5L petrol engine. If we talk about safety features, then it has been given facilities like ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, 6 air bags, parking sensor and reverse camera.
