Consumption 5.5 liters per 100 km. Hybrid crossover Haval Monster first noticed on the road in Russia

In Russia, the Haval Shenshou crossover, also known as Mystical Beast or Monster (“Mythical Beast”, “Monster”), was first noticed. The photo was published by the resource “Chinese cars”.

The car was released in China in 2021, and now it is offered for parallel import in Russia at a price of 2.2 to 3 million rubles, but this is the first car registered in Russia that was caught on camera.

This Haval Monster is registered in the Astrakhan region and is registered to a private individual. It is noteworthy that this is not a regular, but a hybrid version of the car, as indicated by an orange insert on the rear bumper, trapezoidal trim on the exhaust pipes and a corresponding nameplate on the fifth door. Such a crossover has front-wheel drive, accelerates to 100 km / h in 7.7 seconds and consumes only 5.5 liters of 92nd gasoline in the combined cycle for every 100 kilometers.

This is the first Haval model with a “two-story” headlight architecture and the brand’s technological flagship. The car was built on the basis of the LEMON model platform, familiar from Jolion and Dargo, and in terms of dimensions it turned out to be something between the Haval H6 frame SUV and the F7 SUV: 4780 x 1890 x 1675 mm with a wheelbase of 2800 mm.

Haval Monster received a fully digital panel with a diagonal of 12.3 inches, a multimedia system with a 14.6-inch screen, and there are practically no physical buttons in the cabin (they remained only on the steering wheel and on the doors).

It is quite possible that in the future Haval will start official sales of the model in the Russian Federation.
