Renault and Nissan have planned to invest around Rs 4000 crore for their expansion in the Indian market and the next generation Duster will also be developed on the local CMF-B modular platform. Talking about the look and design, the next generation Duster will be based on the Dacia Bigster concept. It will see many exterior features including LED lights setup, integrated aluminum style skid plate.
More Space and Better Features
According to media reports, the new generation Renault Duster will be bigger and more spacious than the old model. The SUV will be 4.34 meters long and will feature luxurious interiors as well as standard and safety features including digital instrument cluster, large screen, wireless charging and smartphone connectivity, 6 airbags, automatic AC, ABS with EBD and many more.
Powerful hybrid engine in the new Duster
The new generation Renault Duster will see a 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine, which will be equipped with 48V hybrid technology. This engine will generate 130bhp power. The SUV is also likely to get a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine. According to media reports, the new Duster can be offered with the All Wheel Drive (AWD) system.
