CNG Car Maintenance: Demand for CNG trains is increasing in the Indian car market. This has been due to rising petrol-diesel prices. CNG cars need more care than the rest of the vehicles. CNG is flammable and a little carelessness can put your life in danger. If you also use CNG car, here we are telling you about 4 such mistakes, which you should never make. They do not only threaten the engine of the car, but also your life.
1. Starting a car at CNG
Do not start your car on CNG mode. It should always start on petrol. The engine is medicated when the car is started directly with CNG. There are many companies in which you will not get the feature of starting from CNG. So start the spin on petrol a little bit, only then turn on CNG mode.
2. Spark Plug Unseen
Spark plugs in CNG cars are fast rubbed. Keep checking them periodically. If you wish, you can use petrol based spark plugs for CNG vehicles. This will save some of your money and it is also a sustainable way.
3. CNG car parked in the sun
Do not park the CNG car in the scorching sun during the summer season. CNG gas flies quicker than the rest of the fuel. So if the CNG car is parked in the sun then the car cabin will also be hot which can be quite harmful for the CNG vehicle.
