Citroen launches first electric car, will compete with Tata and Mahindra

Citroen E-C3 EV: The new electric car will get two driving modes – Eco and Standard. It will get the power of 29.2kWh battery pack, which gives a range of 320km. It will compete with electric cars from Tata and Mahindra in the Indian market.

However, with an ex-showroom price of Rs. 8.49 lakhs, the Tata Tiago EV is more affordable than the first electric car from Citroën. The latest electric car can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 6.8 seconds. Apart from this, this car supports DC fast charging, due to which its battery will be charged 10-80 percent in 57 minutes. Electric car will be charged from 10 to 100 percent in 10.5 hours with 15A power socket. Whereas, the E-C3 electric car looks similar to the C3 model. (Photo: Citroën)
