The Chinese concern SAIC revealed details about the battery of a compact crossover Baojun Yueyewhich was created with an eye on the popular SUV Suzuki Jimny.
The new vehicle is equipped with a 28.1 kWh battery that will give it a range of 303 km according to the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) calculation method.
As for the dimensions of the body, the length, width and height of the new car are 3381, 1685 and 1721 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2110 mm. The Baojun Yueye crossover is rear-wheel drive and equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum output of 68 horsepower and a maximum torque of 140 Nm.
In the future, the company promises to introduce an all-wheel drive version in the future, the total power of which can be 136 hp. at 280 Nm of torque.
The release of the car is expected this year.
