Together, Chinese state-owned electronics company Tongfang, chip maker Loongson, UOS developer Tongxin and CLP Technology have achieved a new leap in performance for the Tongfang L860-T2 laptop, booting up to 14 seconds, surpassing the previous benchmark by almost 100%.

The laptop is equipped with a Loongson 3A5000 quad-core processor and boots into a Linux-based UOS operating system on top of the Kunlun BIOS architecture. The screen diagonal of the gadget is 14 inches with a resolution of 1920×1280, the thickness is 18 mm, and the weight is 1.7 kg.
In terms of specifications, four 3A5000 cores can be overclocked to 2.5GHz, with each core adopting a GS464V 64-bit superscalar standalone microstructure consisting of four fixed-point units, two 256-bit vector arithmetic units, and two memory access units.
