Garmin introduced the children’s smart watch Bounce. As befits Garmin products, the novelty is not cheap. The $150 asking for the Bounce is a fairly common price for “adult” smartwatches from many brands.
However, the market for branded children’s smart watches is practically non-existent, so Garmin products will clearly find their buyer. Moreover, everything is in order with the characteristics.
The watch is equipped with a GPS module and an LTE modem, which is necessary to accurately track the location of the child and be able to contact him. As with other children’s watches, it is possible to set up alerts when the child leaves the specified area. There is also support for text and voice messages between parent and child, and the child can send messages to other Bounce watches as long as their owner is in their contact list. Of course, there is also a function to send an SOS message.
Bounce is also able to track the basic physical activity of the child, and there is support for swimming.
From a technical point of view, we can note a 1.3-inch screen with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels, water protection (5 ATM), dimensions 42 x 42 x 12.6 mm with a weight of 37 g and autonomy for two days.
