A systematic review shows that the effects of sodas and juices have destroyed some of the privileges of wealth and education. The authors of the new scientific work analyzed 65 studies conducted in 30 countries among 60 thousand people. It turned out that the condition of the teeth in adolescents attending private schools, and those whose parents have a higher level of education and income, is significantly worse.
This may seem strange, since children of wealthy parents visit dentists more often. In practice, however, such people consume more sugar-rich foods. Thus, dietary habits appear to be a significant factor in the deterioration of dental health.
