Cheapest 7 Seater: Renault Triber is the cheapest 7 seater MPV in the country, must know these things before buying

Renault Triber: Renault Triber is the cheapest MPV in India. If you are planning to buy it, then it is important for you to know some things about it.

Renault Triber Cost Feature and other Details: Renault Triber is a popular car in India, which falls in the MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) segment. Although there are many options in this segment, none of them is as cheap as the Triber. This is the reason why its demand is also high. In terms of price, you will not see any major flaw in this MPV. Whether it is a 7 seater or a sturdy design, this 7 seater MPV is the best in every respect. However, if you are planning to buy it, then you must know some things about it.

The Renault Triber is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which is the same as any entry-level hatchback available in the market. This engine generates torque of 96Nm and maximum power of 72PS. This car is capable of giving a mileage of 18.29 to 19 kmpl. The car gets both a 5-speed manual and an automatic (AMT) option.

Talking about the features, it will get 20.32cm touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted audio and phone controls, LED instrument cluster, smart access card, push start-stop button, projector headlamp with LED DRL, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, central Cooled storage and a high ground clearance of 182mm are available on the console.

Talking about safety, you get 4 airbags (2 front, 2 sides) in this. Global NCAP has given the car a 4-star safety rating for adults. At the same time, 3 star safety rating has been given for children. This is a much better safety rating at this price point.

price and competition

Renault Triber price starts from around Rs 5.88 Lakh and goes up to Rs 8.44 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model. There is no MPV in the market in comparison to this price. Although the Maruti Ertiga dominates the MPV segment, it costs more than that.

If you are looking for a 7 seater car in a low budget, then you will have to compromise a little somewhere. So you can’t expect the same performance from it as you can from Maruti Ertiga or Kia Carens, but in low budget it can give decent performance as per requirement.
