Money comes back in account in 5 days
If cash did not come out while withdrawing money from ATM but, money has been deducted from your account, then there is no need to worry. Many a times, due to technical glitches, money gets deducted from the customer’s account. In such a situation, this money is automatically returned to the customer’s account within 5 days. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has fixed a date for returning this money to the banks. This money is required to be credited in the customer’s account within 5 days. Otherwise the bank will have to pay a fine of Rs 100 per day to the customer.

If your money has not been received back, then you can also complain about it by visiting your bank branch. Apart from this, if you are a State Bank customer, you can visit the bank’s website https://crcf.sbi.co.in/ccf/ under Existing Customer //ATM related//ATM related//Account Debited but cash not dispensed.
