A man has been arrested in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad for impersonating someone else in the online recruitment examination of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles.
A man has been arrested in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad for impersonating someone else in the online recruitment examination of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles.The police gave this information on Friday.The examination for the posts of constable in CAPFs and rifleman in Assam Rifles was held here on Wednesday, an official at CIDCO police station said.He said that the officials inspecting the process found that a candidate appearing for the online exam from Shivgaon in Vaijapur was behaving suspiciously.
On questioning, it was found that the person was in possession of a mobile phone, transmitter and a Bluetooth device, the official said.He said that on checking his hall ticket, the officials found that he was appearing on behalf of a candidate and the original candidate was a resident of Takli village in Kannada tehsil.
He informed that both the persons have been arrested and a case has been registered against them under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Maharashtra University Prevention of Malpractice Act, 1982.
