Capcom has announced plans to increase salaries for its Japanese employees by 5% in the fiscal year 2024. This upward trend will continue in 2025, with monthly salaries for university graduates rising from 235,000 yen ($1600) to 300,000 yen ($2000), marking a 28% increase. These changes will come into effect from April 2025 until March 31, 2026. Additionally, the company will reward hardworking employees with bonuses.

It’s noteworthy that this isn’t new territory for Capcom. Two years ago, in 2022, the company implemented a 30% wage increase and introduced a bonus system. This approach reflects Capcom’s commitment to supporting its employees and fostering trusting relationships. The company sees its employees not merely as a workforce, but as individuals who play a crucial role in shaping the company’s future.
