Capcom Announces Street Fighter 6

For several days, Capcom teased some loud announcement, and now it finally took place. The company has presented the sixth part of the legendary fighting game series Street Fighter. Details about the game, however, are still few.

There are almost none at all. In a short promotional teaser (above), the developers only briefly showed the models of a couple of fighters (Ryu and Luke), thereby confirming that the sixth part is being created based on the RE Engine. This is all. Capcom promised to reveal other details of the project in the summer, so now all that remains is to wait.

However, fans of the franchise should not lose heart: in addition to the announcement of SF6, the company also presented a new anniversary collection dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the iconic fighting series. It will include ten classic games – and some of them have never been released on consoles before. A nice bonus: old titles will be delivered online.

The Capcom Fighting Collection will be released on June 24th for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
