Call of Duty: Mobile did a blast, earnings crossed ₹ 11,000 crore mark

Call of Duty: Mobile started making new download records as soon as it was launched. Now the popularity of this game has taken it many steps forward in terms of earning. According to the latest report by Sensor Tower, Call of Duty: Mobile has crossed the USD 1.5 billion mark. In Indian currency, this amount is about Rs 11,261 crore.

This mobile game from Activision is a battle royale title. It is a free-to-play game where the main source of income is through in-app purchases. Call of Duty: Mobile was launched on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in October 2019. Since launch, the game has earned $1.5 billion in global player spending, according to Sensor Tower.

Call of Duty: Mobile earnings

The year 2021 was the best for Call of Duty: Mobile in terms of earnings. Player spending increased by about 45 percent in 2021 as compared to 2020. Sensor Tower says that the game was introduced in China in December 2020, after which its earnings have increased significantly. The game grossed US$104.5 million in China’s App Store in 2021.

In 2021 itself, Call of Duty: Mobile was at number 14 in the list of the world’s highest-grossing mobile games. This game was at number three in the category of shooter games. In terms of earnings, PUBG Mobile and Garena Free Fire games were at number one and second place.
