Whereas during the same period last year, the company sold about 359 units. However, the company has seen a decline in terms of month-on-month sales. In May 2022, sales of Ather Energy stood at 3,787 units. The company’s sales fell by 14.68 per cent on a month-on-month basis.
Ather Energy continues to expand operations, adding new experience centers in Mangalore (Karnataka) and Thane (Maharashtra). Ather Energy now has 43 experience centers spread across 35 cities. Ather was the top selling EV brand in Kerala in June with a market share of 24 per cent.
Also to boost sales, Ather has partnered with State Bank of India (SBI) for easy financing options for customers. SBI has been chosen for this job because State Bank of India has the largest banking network in the country.
The company believes that this will help accelerate EV adoption across the country. Ather Energy has also partnered with Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) to promote the company. It will host the upcoming edition of TNPL as an associate partner.
Ather Energy says that seeing strong demand for our electric scooters across the country, challenges related to the supply chain are affecting operations in an adverse manner. Ather is working closely with its suppliers to ensure that the demand-supply gap is bridged.
