Elon Musk’s company Tesla has finally announced the prices of its much awaited model Tesla Cybertruck. The price of Cybertruck will start at $60,990 (about Rs 50.80 lakh), which is about 50% more than the price announced by CEO Elon Musk in 2019. Even though the price of Cybertruck is high, it is very good in terms of look design, power-performance and range.

Made of shiny stainless steel and partly inspired by the submarine-like design of the car in the 1977 James Bond film “The Spy Who Loved Me”, what makes this Cybertruck special is its design. However, experts believe that the price of Tesla Cybertruck has increased due to its futuristic look, body material and advanced technology, although as per the company’s claims, this vehicle is very good in practicality.

Tesla claims that Cybertruck is suitable for all types of road conditions. The company even says that, it has been designed in such a way that it can run not only on Earth but on every planet. Maybe it’s just a matter of saying and possibly a marketing trick, but the look design of Tesla Cybertruck will surprise you too.

Booking of Tesla Cybertruck has already been started and the company says that its order book is full. So far, 10 lakh units have been booked. Since its debut as a pre-production concept in 2019, this unique electric pickup Cyber ​​Truck has now been introduced as a production ready model. So let’s know how is Tesla Cybertruck-

When the Tesla Cybertruck debuted with its wedge-like design that seemed inspired by futuristic video games, the expectation was that the production model would be more realistic. But its final model is also very unique like its concept. It has a large gloss roof and comes with a ground clearance of 432 mm. This Cybertruck runs on 20 inch wheels. In this, LED lighting can be used very well on the smooth surface.

One of the claims at the launch of the Cybertruck was that it would be tougher than any other pickup on the market. Therefore, Tesla developed its own stainless steel super alloy metal for the body panels which gives the pickup tremendous strength and is also bullet proof. Tesla demonstrated a production-spec Cybertruck that can withstand fire from a .45 caliber Tommy gun, a handgun, and even a submachine gun. When Tesla CEO Elon Musk was asked during the presentation why he wanted to make the Cybertruck bulletproof, he simply replied, “Why not?”

It is possible that, looking at the design of Tesla Cybertruck, you may wonder why it has been given such a wedge style design. It turns out that the kind of strong steel used in the construction of this Cybertruck cannot be easily molded into every design. Not only this, its body panel is neither prone to rust nor needs any kind of paint. That means you can’t paint it. The company says that there is no dent of any kind on it.

As tough as this truck looks from outside, the company has kept its interior and cabin equally simple. It has a square steering wheel with AC vents hidden in the dashboard design. The only thing that catches your eye in the cabin is the 18.5-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which can be easily noticed. Rear passengers also get their own 9.4-inch touchscreen unit behind the center console tunnel.

There are multiple options for charging other devices with wireless charging, 65W USB-C port and 120V/240V power outlets throughout the cabin. Additionally, the Tesla Cybertruck also comes with a built-in HEPA filter to keep the cabin free from airborne particles. The company says that by activating it, you can completely purify the cabin and the company calls this feature Bioweapon Defense Mode.

This electric pickup comes with armor glass which can easily withstand any kind of impact from rocks and harsh weather. The company says that, this is why you get a better and silent cabin experience inside the truck. In this, small buttons are provided near the windows on both the doors, after pressing which the user can open the doors of the truck and these buttons are hidden on the pillars in such a way that they cannot be seen easily.

Tesla Cybertruck has been introduced by the company with 3 different powertrain options, which include rear wheel drive (RWD), dual motor cyberbeast and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants. It is being told that the single motor real wheel drive variant will be launched in the market by the year 2025. At present two variants have been introduced.

Regarding the Tesla Cyberbeast variant, the company claims that it gives a range of up to 514 km on a single charge, which can be increased to 708 km with the help of a range extender. This truck is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and its top-speed is 209 km/h. This variant can pull a weight of up to 11,000 pounds i.e. approximately 4989 kg.

Regarding Cybertruck AWD variant, the company says that this truck generally gives a range of 547 km, which can be increased to 756 km with the help of extender. It takes 4.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. Equipped with all-wheel drive technology, the top-speed of this truck is 180 km/h and its towing capacity is also 11,000 pounds i.e. approximately 4989 kg.

Cybertruck RWD acceleration and range are slightly less, which will be introduced by the year 2025. This variant will give a range of up to 402 km on a single charge and it will take 6.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. Equipped with real wheel drive system, the top speed of this truck is 180 km/h and its towing capacity is 3401 kg.

Tesla has not shared any information about the battery pack for the Cybertruck, but it has been provided with a charger with a capacity of 800V for fast charging up to 250kW. This charger is so fast that in just 15 minutes the battery will be charged so much that the user will get a range of up to 218 km from the truck.
