In the database of the SiSoftware application, a mention has appeared of the not yet released discrete graphics card Intel Arc (Alchemist) A380. This is supposed to be an entry level model. This is confirmed by the test results and comparison with the closest competitors AMD and NVIDIA.
According to available information, the Intel Arc A300 series graphics cards will be equipped with 128 compute units with 1024 shaders, 6 GB of video memory with a bandwidth of 14 Gb / s via a 96-bit bus. The exact characteristics of the A380 model are not reported, but there are test results in Sandra GPGPU.
According to the figures obtained, the Intel Arc A380 demonstrates performance on par with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, and in some tests even outperforms the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT. Apparently, Intel graphics cards will support real-time ray tracing and fully comply with DirectX 12 Ultimate specifications.
A full presentation of Intel Arc Alchemist video cards is expected in the second quarter of this year.
