New Delhi: Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Private companies Reliance Jio, Airtel And Vodafone has come up with some great plans to counter the idea. But, now BSNL Soon 4G service will be launched in the country. The company is all set to launch its 4G service on August 15 this year. BSNL will launch 5G network in Non-Standalone (NSA) mode on August 15. It will provide 5G service without end-to-end network. It is used by the operators in the initial stage. Operators provide 5G services through 4G infrastructure. But it also has its limitations. According to a report by ETTelecom, a senior official of the Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) informed that they are working on Proof of Concept (PoC). C-DoT Chairman Rajkumar Upadhyay said that work on 5G is currently underway. Speaking of 5G NSA, the company will launch by August 2022. This will be 4G plus 5G service. The NSA core will be ready by Independence Day this year.

He further said that, BSNL 5G The SA service will be launched in the third quarter of this year. Efforts are being made to launch 5G NSA service by August this year and 5G SA service next year. Meanwhile, private telecom companies had hiked rates on their prepaid plans last year. Since then, many customers have opted for BSNL. According to reports, BSNL has also benefited from this. Consumers are opting for BSNL because of their low cost plans. Now customers are waiting for 4G service. Where the network is good, the customer prefers BSNL over Airtel and Jio. Therefore, after the launch of 4G service, BSNL is likely to compete with other private telecom companies.
