BSNL and Vi are dying! Will Jio and Airtel act arbitrarily? Know details

Jio and Airtel continue to dominate the telecom world. If we look at the figures of January, then new users are associated with both the companies. In January 2023, 16.5 lakh new users have been added to Reliance Jio and 12.8 lakh to Bharti Airtel. 0.92 million new users have been associated with Jio in villages. While the number of new users joining Airtel is more than 0.61 million.

Vi and BSNL are facing loss
While on the other hand users have left Vodafone-Idea and BSNL. The users of BSNL and Vi are continuously decreasing. The same Vi is facing continuous losses. In such a situation, it is expected that only two companies will remain in the telecom world. In January 2023, Vodafone-Idea has lost 1.36 million users.

BSNL and VI are lagging behind in technology
Let us know that Jio and Airtel have rolled out 5G service in more than 500 cities in India. Although 5G service has not been rolled out by BSNL and Vi. The same 4G service has not been completely rolled out by BSNL. In such a situation, it may be a bit difficult for BSNL and VI to survive for a long time in comparison to Jio and Airtel.

Will Airtel and Jio be arbitrary
Airtel and Jio company are becoming monopoly in India. The loss of which the customers may have to bear. Both these companies will decide the prices accordingly. However, the government does not want that any two companies in India become arbitrary. For this, Vi and BSNL are being helped by the government on the economic front. However, how long will both the companies be able to survive with the help of the government. For now, only time will tell.

vi is suffering
Vi has suffered a total loss of around Rs 7,990 crore in the third quarter. While there is a loss of Rs 7,596 crore in the second quarter. While the revenue has increased by Rs 10,621 crore as compared to last year.

Disadvantages of BSNL

BSNL’s loss has doubled in the year 2018-19. The loss which was 7,993 crores in the year 2017-18, has increased to 15,000 crores in one year.
