BMW i7 Launched In India: BMW has launched the new i7 sedan in India at Rs 1.95 crore (ex-showroom, India). This is a full electric version of the BMW 7 Series which has been introduced in xDrive 60. The company will import it as a completely built unit (CBU) in India.

Based on the BMW 7 Series ICE model, the i7’s styling is similar to the 7 Series, with blue accents. In addition, it gets specially designed alloy wheels that are aerodynamic and reduce air pressure. There is also an ‘I’ badge on the front grille.

Apart from this, door handles are available in i7 like iX. The rear is identical to the 7 Series except for the badge. In terms of dimensions, the BMW i7 is 5,391mm long, 1,950mm wide and 1,544mm tall.

Luxury cabin is available in BMW i7. It uses a curved display for the infotainment unit and instrument cluster, which measure 14.9-inch and 12.3-inch respectively. Its infotainment system is powered by BMW’s iDrive 8 OS. The party trick is the Theater Mode, which turns the display into a 31.3-inch 8K display in cinema-style fashion. The screen folds down from the ceiling, and is powered by built-in Amazon Fire TV. It is easy to stream OTT content on the display as well.
