After a series of gaffes, BioWare is hard at work on several projects. In order not to keep fans in the dark about their status, the team decided to share the details of the creation of Dragon Age IV.
In a recent post , Gary McKay – General Manager – stated that the development process is proceeding at a normal pace. So far, the game is in the midst of production, when the drawing of a conditional RPG has already been formed, the mechanics have been thought out and tested, and the project is being actively assembled. And then there will be Alpha, Beta and polish.
In addition to the status of the fourth Dragon Age, McKay spoke about the personnel involved in it. Production is managed by Mac Walters, with Corrine Bouchet as Game Director and Benoit Houle as Director of Product Development. Unfortunately, there were no losses. The project was left by Christian Daly, the game’s producer. The reasons for his departure from the studio, alas, are not specified, and he has been working within its walls since 2018.
McKay promises that fans will have more news about Dragon Age 4 during the year. In particular, the team will share information on social networks and on the company’s website.
In parallel with Dragon Age, BioWare is also working on the next Mass Effect. The project, which is headed by Michael Gamble, is at the pre-production stage (i.e. everything is still at the stage of ideas and mechanics formation).
