The Google Pixel phone is a popular choice among many people, but the company has recently delivered a significant blow to some of its fans. None of the company’s Pixel models will be available anymore. Google introduced its powerful phone, the Pixel 6A, in India in May 2022. Now, almost two years later, the company has officially discontinued the Google Pixel 6A from its official stores in India and the US. There have been reports for some time now that the company will soon launch its new series, the Google Pixel 8A, and it will be unveiled at the company’s annual event, Google I/O.
It has been reported that the I/O event will take place on May 14, although no official confirmation has been received from the company yet. It’s worth noting that even though Google has discontinued its Pixel 6A smartphone before Google I/O 2024, if you were considering buying this phone, you can still purchase it in India through Flipkart.
The Pixel 6A is currently available on Flipkart for Rs 43,999. Many offers are also available for buyers who purchase the Pixel 6A using a Flipkart Axis Bank Card, including a 5% cashback.
Additionally, the company is offering a 5% additional discount on the Google Charger. Furthermore, Flipkart is providing a 12-month Spotify Premium subscription for Rs 699.
As for the features of the Google Pixel 6A, it boasts a 6.14-inch full HD+ display and a dual rear camera setup. The resolution of the display is 1080×2400 pixels, and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The display also has a 60Hz refresh rate.
The phone features a 12.2-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Powering the device is a 4,410mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
