A well-known Chinese insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station has provided new information on the design of the flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12.
According to him, the design of the Xiaomi 12 camera unit will resemble the Redmi K30s smartphone, which, in turn, was an improved copy of last year’s Xiaomi Mi 10T with a 144-Hz screen.
The camera is expected to receive one large module on top, as well as additional cameras below it. This arrangement is called Big Eyes and Small Eyes. It is reported that Xiaomi has mastered this layout well, which will save more battery space inside the case and make the device thinner and lighter.
The Xiaomi 12 is expected to come with an LTPO screen and adaptive refresh rate adjustment from 1Hz to 120Hz. When a compatible game is launched, the display refresh rate is automatically set to 120Hz. In other modes, it will be much lower.
This series is expected to have a battery capacity of around 5000 mAh. Wireless charging will be limited to 50W due to Chinese laws. The smartphone must run MIUI 13 out of the box. According to the leader Xiaomi, he talked to members of the MIUI shell development teamwho are absolutely confident that MIUI 13 will improve the experience of using Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones.
Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of the Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11.
